Stories from a 2-day Galing Pook visit to Basilan. to validate a program for peace and development of the Provincial LGU led by Gov. Jim Hataman Salliman with many partners including Balay MIndanaw. How did they succeed in getting over 300 Abu Sayyaf rebels to become returnees? What development programs enable the returnees and the conflict affected communities benefit from the peace?

Girlie will interview her co-host Ed about his visit, and share some short videos. In the second part we requested NURHATI TANGGING, a young Yakan staff of the program to share her experiences and insights.
