My friend is an active education advocate as he sees the need for people especially the younger ones to attain a good quality of education. According to him, education advocacy is important to all the levels but must be started at a local level first before concentrating on higher levels.
Education is important to every person or people because it is important to our lives so that we can help other people who need our help.
Education is important to us in our lives because we need it every day
In education, motivation helps children and young people to focus their attention on a key goal or outcome. In doing so, they are unfazed by possible distractions, and are therefore able to maintain their attention during longer periods of time. Students who are motivated display goal-orientated behaviours
Youth are the experts on their own experience and bring valuable insight into issues that matter to them. Some youth may have witnessed the negative impact that substance abuse can have on people’s lives. Others may have experienced discrimination because of their sexual orientation. These struggles can spark a desire to speak out, raise awareness and help others experiencing similar challenges. Youth can be powerful advocates, influencing change within political, economic and social systems

-We all know that education is the key to success , it is the most powerful weaponwhich.you can use to change the world, as what our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal implemented, he use his knowledge to fight for those invader.
It helps people become better citizens, get a better-paid job, shows the difference between good and bad. Education shows us the importance of hard work and, at the same time, helps us grow and develop.
According to my friend, education advocacy in local level is important because this is where we would know what our actions will be in national and global level. Local level serves as a voice and indicator of the gaps while NAtional level is where we make policies.
.
I interviewed a colleague who has been in this education advocacy for two decades, engaging in education advocacy work at national and international levels. His WHY is that he has observed the deteriorating quality of education and the major gaps in access and equity. The education system has so far failed to develop and improve the critical thinking and analytical skills of learners, skills that are crucial to be able to contribute to the development of the wider society.
The local level provides a basis or evidence to substantiate the advocacy at the national level, while advocacy at the global level amplifies your analyses and advocacy. Advocacy at the global level adds more pressure because the global community is calling for reforms and changes.
