The Rights-based Approach to Disability

Course Description: This module will give an overview of the situation of persons with disabilities;
the different approaches to disability; CRPD as a framework for rights-based approach to
disability; and how to achieve disability-inclusive development. Alongside the concepts are
practical exercises to support the learning process.

Learning Outcomes: The learners will have basic conceptual and practical understanding of
rights-based approach to disability.
